The Ordinary

At OURS we love to take care of ourselves and trying new products.

The first time I got in touch with The Ordinary was when my usual daily cream was running out and I started browsing around in Lookfantastic ( a website that has thousands of cosmetic brands) . I was adding the same cream I’ve been using all the time into the cart, when suddenly my eyes were caught by these little bottles in the “you may also like “ area.  The Ordinary has an amount of very affordable skincare products and a clean and minimal design that I love.  I immediately put one product into my shopping cart, without even knowing very much about it.

The day my order arrived, I instantly loved the design of the little bottle. The glass dropper and tube presented cleanliness and purity. I couldn’t wait to try it out. When I press the rubber head of the tube, I feel like I’m doing some laboratory experiments in high school chemistry’s class.

The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane turned out to be a light oily textured hydrator for both face and hair. Yet it’s fast-absorbing and non-greasy. For the second time, I read a few reviews before the purchase. For a very long time, I’ve been suffering from acne and spots. I knew that the Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Concentrated Serum was one of their bestsellers for beating skin imperfections. And once again, I was very satisfied with the product.

This is how they describe the brand on their website:“ The Ordinary was created to celebrate integrity in its most humble and true form. Its offering is pioneering, not in the familiar technologies it uses, but in its honesty and integrity.”  And even better, all formulas of the Ordinary are vegan and cruelty-free.

If you have ever used their products as well or have any other skincare tips, let us know. At Ours, we would love to hear about it!
